a Singaporean-based company, Wellesta Holdings, managed to set up its business and progress with resilience through the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Countless achievements
Wellesta Holdings set up its company to make quality healthcare products accessible for all. The company supplies a wide range of products under the Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, Medical Devices as well as personal care umbrella.
Over the span of two years, Wellesta Holdings has expanded its presence to neighbouring countries including Indonesia, India, Middle East and North Africa as well as Malaysia.
A year older and wiser
Recently, Wellesta Holdings proudly turned two! A business anniversary is always worth celebrating. Today, the Covid-19 pandemic is changing the way people celebrate major events, this includes companies’ anniversaries.
With that being said, Wellesta celebrated their accomplishment virtually with over 280 individuals from the Asian continent including Wellesta Truelife, Malaysia.
During the event, Chairman and Managing Director of Wellesta Holdings, Milan Paleja shared that he’s over the moon to have employees of Wellesta Holdings join the event. In the course of the virtual celebration, Paleja reminded the Wellesta Holdings family about the company’s purpose which includes providing high quality service and products at the right price as well as higher value creation for its patients and society, principals, employees and shareholders.
Aside from that, Paleja emphasised that every employee should be highly resilient and among other values such as having a curious and entrepreneur mindset along with being ethical and compliant
These skills are especially valued as the company moves forward towards achieving its goals and expanding its business. The company plans to expand to Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Commonwealth of Independent States as well as to Central Europe in the upcoming years.
In addition to the virtual celebration, partners and leaders from different countries shared their goals, aims and individual business plans for the near future. Country Director of Wellesta Truelife, Joe P shared his gratitude to be a part of Wellesta Holdings and continued by sharing the aims and vision he has to ensure the team under his wings grow concurrently with the company’s business plan.

A joyous cake cutting ceremony
The event ended on a high note with a joyous cake cutting ceremony, as everyone wished each other a wonderful two-year anniversary. The highlight of the celebration was when team Indonesia opted for a ‘Tumpeng’ (rice cake) instead of a cake to memorialise this special occasion. ‘Tumpeng’ is a cone-shaped rice dish with various side dishes of vegetables and meat.

1Twenty80 team joined in the celebration and had the opportunity to witness the joyous event and was truly inspired to find the closeness of the employees despite coming from different regions. On top of that, 1Twenty80 also had the privilege to witness the special moment when Paleja shared with his employees that no jobs were compromised amidst the pandemic. It was truly a significant moment for everyone!
