Make that punch
Staying hydrated is essential especially when living in a tropical climate where the sun is always shining. There is no doubt that plain water is always the healthiest option but there are also times where you might be looking for a refreshing drink with a twist of flavour.
Instead of opting for artificially flavoured or sugar-filled options, here are two healthier fruit punches that you can make at home or serve at your upcoming party.
Watermelon Cooler
Ingredients
•½   Fresh watermelon, seedless
•600 ml   Filtered water
•2 Key lime
•Ice cubes
Methods
1.With a melon baller, scoop watermelon into little balls. Make about 10 balls and chill.
2.Then, squeeze key lime juice and pour into a jug.
3.Mix key lime juice and filtered water well.
4.Add watermelon balls and stir gently.
5.Finally, top the drink up with ice and serve immediately.
Berry twist
Ingredients ( Makes 1 Jug )
•600 ml   Soda water
•Orange, sliced
•1 Key lime, sliced
•1 Lemon
•A handful of frozen raspberries A sprig of fresh mint leaves
•Ice cubes
Methods
1.Slice the lemon into half. Juice one half and slice the other half.
2.Then, pour lemon juice and soda water into a jug.
3.Fill it up with orange, key lime and lemon slices, followed by a generous handful of frozen raspberries.
4.With a spoon or a chopstick, give the drink mixture a good stir.
5.Then add fresh mint leaves and ice. Enjoy immediately.
