Spread the love

Your hair is one of your best assets and it’s your crowning glory! However sadly, hair loss is becoming a common issue faced by many.

Hair loss can be due to genetics, the use of hair products and hair chemicals or it could be due to ageing too. No matter what the cause is, it’s best to always seek an expert’s diagnosis.

In the meantime, here are some popular natural alternatives that can help to reduce hair fall:

Egg mask

The protein content in egg yolk is one of the best ingredients to promote hair growth. Egg masks naturally strengthen and moisturise your hair.

Tip: Break an egg into a bowl and add some olive oil and honey. Apply it to your hair and scalp and leave it on for 20 minutes before rinsing it off.

Fenugreek

The protein and nicotinic acid also known as Vitamin B in fenugreek is responsible for stimulating hair growth and producing stronger strands of hair.

Tip: Grind a tablespoon of fenugreek with a little water until a smooth paste is formed. Then, apply the paste onto your hair and wash it after 30 minutes.

Amla

Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry, is a nutritious small fruit that is rich in vitamin C. Amla helps to minimise hair fall and accelerates hair growth.

Tip: Mix two tablespoons of amla juice with an equal amount of lime juice. Use a mist spray bottle and directly spray it to your hair. After it’s dry, wash it off with warm water.

Henna

The natural properties in henna helps to boost hair growth, reduce hair fall and adds volume to your hair.

Tip: Dry the henna leaves and blend it into powder. Next, add two tablespoons of henna leaves into a bowl, along with some yogurt. Mix it well and apply it to your hair. Wash your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water once it’s completely dry.
