One of the many places you can spend the day with your family and loved ones in the countryside while still being able to enjoy the tranquil ambiance of nature is farms. Here’s a chance for you to take a trip for a serene yet fun time among nature. With that, we’ve rounded up five farms with amazing panoramic views. So, let’s get right into it.
#1 DESA DAIRY FARM, KUNDASANG

Kundasang is an endearing small town in Sabah and one of the places you should visit while you’re there is the Desa Dairy Farm. Kundasang’s Desa Dairy Farm is also known as the ‘Little New Zealand’ due to its green landscape. Enjoy the cool breeze and green landscapes of the farm while watching cattle grazing grass in the fields at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kinabalu or as you get thrilled while feeding the calves at the calf pen.
You can also take a peek into the milking process at the milking parlour while you’re there.

#2 MAEPS Agro Tourism Park, Selangor
MAEPS Agro Tourism Park is an ideal agro park where you can bring your loved ones as you take in all of nature’s splendour. Plus, you’ll get to experience life on plantations and agricultural zones while you’re there.
What’s more is that you get to befriend goats and camels at the House of Kambing, play with various exotic pets and horse riding. For the more curious learner, you will have the opportunity to learn interesting facts on herbs, paddy, pineapple and fishes.
A guided tour package with fun and interactive activities are available. However, do take note that entrance fee is applicable.

#3 Tropical Fruit Farm, Penang
A Tropical Fruit Farm located in Teluk Bahang, Penang with a collection of over 250 different species of fruits from different regions of the world such as Central and South America, Central Africa, India, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Islands. Plus what’s great is that the fruit trees are free from harmful chemicals. Tropical Fruit Farm is a carefully curated paradise where locals and tourists visit all year round to indulge themselves in a variety of exotic and rare fruits.
Teluk Bahang’s hilly terrain is ideal for the cultivation of subtropical and tropical fruit trees which is why it is a popular attraction for locals and tourists to visit. The farm provides visitors with guided tours, fruit tasting and buffet plus tour packages.

#4 Farm In The City, Selangor
Farm In The City (FICT), located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor where you get to learn about nature and animals while exploring the conservation park. FICT was designed to resemble the typical Malaysia village setting while still being able to provide the locals and tourists with educational and entertaining insights of wildlife and nature. FICT is simply the perfect place for both adults and children to learn and interact with farm animals.
Spend a day filled with amazing and fun activities in FICT such as:
- Feed and interact with giant tortoise species.
- Interact with more than 100 species of tame and exotic animals.
- Be amazed with more than 100 birds in free-flight.
- Summon thousands of Koi fish by ringing a bell.

#5 Zenxin Organic Farm, Johor
Located at Kluang, Johor, Zenxin Organic Farm is the largest public organic farm in Malaysia since 2009. The scenery and landscape of the farm may remind you of the Alice in Wonderland movie. The farm was opened as an initiative to provide educational tours for everyone to enjoy and know the inside out of how organic agriculture works.
In the premises, you will come across a number of farms including the Vegetable Farm and the Dragon Fruit farm. On top of that, Zenxin Organic Farm has over 100 types of herbs and other organic fruits! There are plenty of other options readily available to go about at the park. For instance, you can take part in pet feeding, catching fish or even learn about organic plants at the flower nursery.
